I've been going to the Big 12's in KC for 6 years now, there wasn't a much better feeling than the P&L Friday night after the Kansas game last year
That's what it meant to ISU fans. I didn't make my list based on what ISU beating KU meant to an ISU fan; I made it on what it meant to me based on what is important to me. As I said before, an ISU fan's list is his own and would be expected to be different than mine.

I think I would rather beat them at Hilton. KU is the only reason we don't have the longest current win streak at home. I'd take a win over Kansas at any venue but it's just a little sweeter in Ames.
Thank you for proving my point which is that everyone's preferences and feelings on it are going to be a little different. If it can be seen and accepted between different ISU fans then it should be expected that a fan of an entirely different school might have a different opinion as well.

My bet is that nobody cares what the tournament means to a KU fan. An outside perspective of ISU is one thing but telling us how you feel about KU is another.

I have this weird feeling he picks Arkansas.

I hope I'm wrong but I just don't feel like well get dime either. Can't believe some people on this board are confident well get him. Just havent heard any obvious signs that he loves ISU.

All 24/7 experts predict ISU as of now for Dime.

Does list Kansas as an offer, but maybe it is conditional, and if he wants to decide in October, maybe Kansas stopped recruiting him, or maybe he just didn't want to wait.

I guess this must be where the confidence is coming from thanks for posting peteypie. Interesting choice of schools. Big 12, big 10, sec, and pac. Hmm

I'm guessing we're only going to get Diallo or Dime. If Dime commits we stay after Diallo, but he'll go somewhere else were he's the guy in the middle. If you want to make the pro's after one year(which he said) you almost need to be the guy at your position. Especially ISU. Without Clarke in the picture guessing we're going to wait for the transfer market. Then we'll have gone 3 year without a high schooler committing to us. Not a bad thing since we've got some pretty good players.

What a story that will make. Sounds like something for 30 for 30

I would feel pretty specatucular if Dime were to commit to us. If he were to commit, we'd have one remaining scholly, which obviously would be moslty held out for Diallo until the very end, unless something randomly pops up nearly as good (maybe a mid-year transfer). Even if something decent pops up mid-year who we sign, we'd just make room for Diallo. Then, if we strike out on Diallo, no worries, we'll just bank the remaining scholly for recruiting season #2 - the transfer market. Therefore, to me, my success barometer is based on us landing at least one of the two guys (Diallo or Dime). Give me one an I'd be happy. Granted, even if we get zero, I'll be dissapointed, but I imagine CFH will make it up to me in the transfer market anyway :). I'm also planning on someone leaving by the end of the year which will leave another open scholly. I have no clue who, but you are stupid to not bet on it.

Look, we all have a different perspective on the sport, tinted by our own experience and the team we cheer for. I have covered this ground several times on here. My PERSONAL feelings on the conference tourney are shaped by the fact that Kansas has never in my lifetime needed a conference tourney win to get selected into the tourney field. Frankly, I think it just wears the guys out more than anything and exists primarily as a conference money grab. However, I understand why other people value it more than I do. I have made no attempt to say that anyone that values it MORE than I do is wrong so why are you trying to tell me that my opinion "is ********?" You think it's more important than I do. No problem. That's what it is to you.

Did KU lose a possible 1 seed opportunity by losing the tournament? If so, then it means something and to say otherwise is stupid.

I doubt if KU would have gotten a #1 seed if they won the Big 12 tourney. That team wasn't going to the Final Four whether they got a #1 or a #2 seed so it didn't make any difference. If they couldn't beat Stanford in their 2nd game there's no reason to think they would have beat the winner of the 8/9 game. So it goes. I'm really no tlooking to convence anyone to agree with me so you're pretty much just spinning your wheels here.

Oh shieeet, Lars Hanson from Washington Insider has Dime to Washington, ISU only at 80% crystal ball. Rabble rabble rabble.
A Washington guy thinks he's going to Washington? Shocker. More concerning should be that onhly 5 guys cared enough to even make a prediction.
