So....since we need something fun to discuss....other'n ISU football and celebrity nudes, anyone do anything fun over the holiday weekend?

Cyrocks, how'd the UH football game turn out?

You paid to much. I bought 6 John Wayne Movies (Rio Bravo, Rio Lobo, the Searches, El Dorodo, The Shootist, and The Sons of Katie Elder) plus Raiders of the Lost Ark for 30 bucks today. Big time win.

Pretty good game. 17-16 against Washington. Loss though. Good thing is, you can buy beer in Aloha Stadium. Bad news is it's 9 bucks a beer. Good news is I discovers Heineken Light. Regular Heineken gives me heart burn, but the light goes down well.

I posted the pic for the view I had of Pearl Harbor a few pages back.

You need McClintock & the Quiet Man. Maybe In Harm's Way & the Sands Of Iwo Jima for good measure. :) You did hit on my two favorites though...El Dorado & Sons of Katie Elder.

I have McClintock. The Searchers is John Wayne's best movie. Terrifically acted movie. Also Rio Brovo is fantastic. Super good finds. Barnes and Nobel were having a hell of a sale and I have too many books to read already.

Searchers IS an amazing movie...but I find the premise behind it so very depressing...
