Technically, those questions are legal to ask. It's if they use your answers to discriminate against you as a candidate is when it's illegal. (I know, how do you prove that?)

Let me hunt for a link and post it.

I'm pretty sure the age thing is completely illegal. The others you can skate around but it's still awfully gray.

The thing is, with me having dropped out of college for some years and having just graduated this past May, I'm a 28-year-old looking for an "entry-level" position against people 3-6 years younger than me.

In my situation, I don't really know (and really can't prove) if an employer would choose someone younger than me, if they knew how old I am.

Edit: Here's the link...question #2

Question #4 on that link pretty much answers everything. The place I interviewed with was also a non-profit, four full-time staff members.

I have off tomorrow! Too bad I gotta go take mah car in. Oh, I need to look up a running route.

I'm literally the only person in my company in the state of Hawaii that has to work tomorrow. So I'm having my 8am video call with my boss and probably calling it a day around lunch time.

But, it is a long weekend. Maybe she was running low on Captain, and she needed to restock so we could have a long Rum Brooklyn weekend.
