I just shake my head, at half his posts. Sorry, but basketball games mean squat in a football thread. The fact people are talking about what the Fox television managment decides is beyond me.

Anyways, someone please help me and talk about something relavant to the game being played on the field and not stupid sheet!

Let's talk weather conditions for the game. If it's typical late August/early September weather here (hot and humid as hell), does that favor ISU? In theory, an FBS program should have better depth than an FCS program even if the front line units are relatively even.

Wait, I did too. Dont tell me that you were the guy that screamed dibs after I was finished.

Eskimo brothers! *high five*

If you're coming down for the game find me for a beer or three. Good job outta you.

What part of your D do you think ISU tries to exploit? I think I read somewhere that you're D-Line is your weak point. Is that true? If you stack the box, do you think they have a special scheme to contain our lanky receivers?

Really think ISU uses the run early in this game and try to run it down your throat behind Farniok before opening it up some.

According to weather.com, the forecast calls for 20% rain and a high of 79. That actually is not too bad. I would venture to guess that there is some humidity, but it cant be any different than what the weather has been here for the last month or so. If it is as humid as you say, that should favor you guys.. But, as I have said before NDSU does have on the best trainers in the business in Jim Kramer. Bohl wanted this guy to go badly to WY with him, but he refused and stayed here in Fargo. It was Jim and the people at sports medicine, that should be given some the credit for the Bison winning the game last yr at KSU. One thing that Jim Kramer has done year in and year out is put a very conditioned football team on the field. He is the reason that if the Bison are in a close game, they pull it out in the fourth quarter.

I am sure you have a great Atheltic trainer, I may just give that edge to Bison though. Depth-you guys obviously.

I would say, ISU would be dumb if they dont come out and run the ball. The D-Line is newer and not full of returning starters. They players on it did play last year. If that happens and you guys start to run well, I could see the LB's moving up and a CB getting beat on a long ball. This of course is purely my speculation. You have to remember, that we have a new DC, HC, and you guys have new OC. Things could be very different than any of us envision. I personally am going off of what the Bison have done in the past.. tampa 2 defense. I also could see if the LBs get sucked up that Dibbs (?TE) could start to get open on crossing patterns. Def. to start the game though I forsee the base Tampa 2 defense with our CBs very physical at the line of scrimmage. Hopefully our d-Line can penatrate and make your QB uncomfortble in the pocket.

It has been pretty humid here this week but the temps have stayed low enough that it isn't too bad. I doubt weather will be too much of a factor either way.

8 days, 1 hour and 44 minutes until kickoff.

Ok, so it'll either be highs in the 90's and humid as hell. Or highs in the 60's with storms all day.

You all still have your old DC as HC? I assume the basic scheme wouldn't change. I know Vraa is a great WR.
Can he beat guys deep frequently? We have a few corners that can cover, but they have some limitations as a group. I expect ISU to load up against the run, and try to have NDSU beat us deep or else repeatedly short with TEs and backs.

Yeah, two new guys at the safety spots in Cotton-Moya and Mutcherson. I wouldn't be surprised to see them get challenged early in the game.

For all the fellow Dish Network subscribers...Dish and Fox are fighting and now Dish is saying they won't be showing any games on Fox Sports 1 next weekend...so the ISU game won't be available as of now. So that likely puts the K-State game in jeopardy too. Here's the line to the story...
