I'm not even kidding in that freshman advice thread. I had a student make up a source from the college from the state the prof was from. I guess it wasn't his alma mater, but he grew up in that state and knew it damned well. They are a major program in the industry alongside ISU. I was the TA and got a **** review from the student because I didn't review their sources beforehand.
A. my job regarding sources was to review formatting only. Prof was reviewing legitimacy. I didn't Google anyone's sources.
