Crossed the line how captain? Where did I say I would teach you about football?

Yes, the mindset of NDSU football program right now is that, total passion and heart, that's a big part of the culture of winning. They are almost afraid to lose, in the media day numerous players mentioned media and other teams thinking NDSU will backpedal this year and that's the chip on their shoulder. (These seniors could finish their careers with a title every year and a 58-2 record! That's something they desperately want and I will cheer them on to do so.

I didn't create the line, or Massey or sagarin ratings, sorry.

Heres one hard fact for you, NDSU will never move up to the big boy leagues. Do you pay attention to college football outside of south Canada?

Just because you beat their teams does not mean they will invite you. Look at the numbers, you have under 20k fans per game, there is no tv revenue to be added if you were to join these conferences. Sun Belt is where you would likely start out.

Thank you. You're a great football mind

Jsuclones is not, probably a basketball only guy

Family has had football season tickets for the past 12 years, bud. Haven't missed a single game, even for rain, freezing cold or Gene Chizik. Never once had basketball season tickets, only attend a few games a year. I'm equally passionate about both sports.

Once again, nice job making yourself look like a moron.

Maybe even a 1A independent for a year or two. It's asinine that lakes thinks NDSU, a school whose stadium fits under 20,000 and is located in a state with one of the lowest populations will automatically get a Mountain West invite. This guy clearly has no idea how football works and thinks his school is entitled to join whichever conference they want because they beat up on a bunch of nobodies year-after-year.

NDSU was on espn gameday something mac or mwc haven't had in years. NDSU is a regional school with 50/50 Minnesota students. TV in the Fargo DAM had 50% share. Better than most. It's the fastest growing area in the usa. Yes the stadium is 20 but it's sold out every game. Those 2 conferences have seen our traveling fanbase.

Who the **** cares. There have been a couple D3 schools that have been on gameday. Does that mean they should be in FBS?

You are a huge idiot. Your homerism is hilarious. Fargo is a tiny city and outside of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, there aren't that many people in the state. Get your blinders off. The Mountain West isn't going to accept a school like NDSU when it's not going to make them a penny. If you're too stupid to realize this, you may be the biggest idiot there is. Give them time to win in the MAC, build a bigger stadium, and get rid of idiot fans like you, then MAYBE. It doesn't matter if the city is growing faster than any other city. That doesn't mean squat. You really are dumb. You must have gotten your education at NDSU.

You were on gameday during a week NOTHING else was going on during cfb. There were no marquee matchups and you had just shocked kstate. You have 7k kids from Minnesota, the U has north of 40k. Lakes, I am not trying to make fun of your school here, I admit if this team has not improved since last year you can definitely beat us. 20k fans is on par with Idaho, what conference are they in? This is how major college athletics work, what do you bring to the conference, and sadly a winning tradition doesn't mean ****, $$$$ does.

Thank you! Lakes is so clueless and thinks that just because his program dominates a league that nobody cares about, that they're entitled to just up and join the Mountain West. I can't stand this moron and he's probably still going to argue with your point. The only reason he's posting here is because his own fanbase got annoyed with him and banned the troll.

The area is booming. If they start endowing oil wells like Texas and Oklahoma I could see them rising to national prominence. The Fargo dome is actually large enough. To qualify for FBS the NCAA requires only 15K average attendance once within two years, but teams from the power conferences would be reluctant to schedule home and home. Still, I would sure hate to live in Fargo or Moorehead.

I used to think LB was just another, persistent troll. I am not so sure anymore. I think he is really delusional and overwhelmed with conference envy. I can imagine it is tough - NDSU has been very successful in their element and it is natural to want the next challenge. I am sure it is hard to admit to yourself it just isn't going to happen.
