Yep. App State got way more publicity for beating Michigan in the big house than NDSU has for 3 titles.

Most college football fans will remember that happening but couldn't tell you any FCS champions from the last 20 years.

Im a D2 football alum and fully understand the lower divisions place in national media. There are great atmospheres, fanbases, and rivalries at the lower divisions. We know that our fans are very loyal but we also know that most college football fans couldn't care less about our team, our conference, or division. We are fine with that. It's still quality football that produces NFL players and it's fun to be around. There appears to be a portion of the NDSU fanbase that can't accept reality and just enjoy what they have.

I used to like you until this thread came about. Nobody cares about your school except for people from North Dakota.

Honestly I like lakes. He is ridiculous and over the top in his fandom but so are some people on here. He's just the most far gone and I appreciate it.
 
I love how hard you all work to try and discredit NDSU. That is very telling.

NDSU is starts camp Aug 4 should be giving you guys some reports. 1 of DT's Brian Scheatz 6 1 280 is out with a broken foot

There is one reason this game is getting talked about so much. That reason is lakesbison. That's it.
 
Honestly if not for Lakes I would - 1. Not know their mascot was the bison & 2. Would confuse them with North Dakota, South Dakota and South Dakota St (knowing one of them beat some FCS schools but that's about it). Now when I run into people from North Dakota I at least know one thing about the State besides the movie Fargo (that was set in Minnesota).

So I give him props he has likely done more for North Dakota PR, by flooding opposing teams fan boards, than the team or state tourism office.

I doubt that the state tourism board's objective would be to make people assume that everyone from NorDak is mentally challenged.

Didn't that happened in spring practice, or is this a new injury? He was projected to play the middle. Who is replacing him? Didn't sound like the folks on Bisonville were all that high on Farnlof.

According to the geniuses on BV, they have a dozen other players that are probably better to replace him.
