***Official 2015 Recruiting Thread***

There are always suprises. Talk to me next year this time and let's see how many players are gone. I bet it's about 5

Ok. and let's stop with all the talk about how our defensive line will suck this next year. let's see how they play and then talk to me next year.

@Trey_Scott3: I spoke with Denver Johnson today. Cyclones are his favorites - he's tight w 2015 commits - but won't rush into any decision. 3-star WR

I counted 12 scholarship seniors on the roster plus 3 walk-ons who may or may not have scholarships. Anywhere from 15-20 in this class.

And this leads to another point. I wouldn't call this team "young", but the best/most talent is in the last 2-3 classes. That is why the negativity surrounding the program is unwarranted at this point.

Sorry people, but no coach has ever turned the ISU program into a perennial 7-8-9 win/year program. Expecting the current guy to have done it by now is just completely ignoring the facts. One bad year doesn't mean the program is falling apart.

One? Yeah....ok genius

So 12 senior =12 schollies - 2 for walkons (at least Levi and the dback that left and came back forgetting his name) =10 + 5 attrition= 15 so what is the argument?

Just a reminder that Devine Ozigbo announces today at 2:00
Sounds like he'll post it on Twitter @TrulyDevine_22

@dDelira4: S/O to my future running back @DevineOzigbo22 for making his commitment to Iowa State!! We are gonna do some big things! #astormiscoming

5 wins with ISU's recent schedules isn't great but it is probably about an average year.

Last year was definitely a very, very bad year and was the only one of the Rhoads era with both very bad losses and a lack of impressive wins. It was the only real total failure Rhoads has had.

I'm sure you were saying the same thing about Ferentz last year after your 4-8 season against a much, much cushier schedule than ours last year.

I was wondering if we were going to try to land one more RB in this class or if we were good with just Ozigbo being as that we have Warren, Syria, Brown and Webster all as underclassmen. Looks like a JUCO RB is going to visit in late August.

Trey Scott has said that he believes ISU is only taking Ozigbo this year. That may have been one of ISU's major selling points to him.

Fargo south ND RB James Johannanson just got offered by Minnesota . Iowa st look at him yet?
