Then I'm out of ideas of what the problem could be. Maybe 00 nailed it with the gangrene hypothesis?

I really think I just got over ambitious coming back in this spring. I probably should have given my foot more time in between runs or put a band aid on sooner but I didn't. I just want to make sure it isn't going to give me the gangrene. That shiz is nasty.

Cows can get it as a form of mastitis, and it'll get under their skin and when you touch it, it sounds like aluminum foil. So bad.

The ones I have were fitted for me at one of those running places. The shoes had been fine last fall. It's like I ran too hard too fast this spring (went right back to three miles after a couple months off) and now I'm not running often enough. So it got a deep blister on the bottom of my big toe, and then when it finally peeled, I was running on the new skin. So I probably need to do a couple short runs to toughen it up, but I don't do that. So it blisters a little bit, peels, then blisters again. Thought tonight it looks bad, it feels like it may actually be getting harder. Right foot is fine. I wore a bandaid tonight and it didn't hurt nearly as much at the end as normal so I'm hoping that helps. I think I should probably get new shoes, but I'm putting it off.

Don't use bandaids. They perpetuate the friction. Use moleskin. You can usually find it with the Dr Scholls stuff. We used it when breaking in new hiking boots.

I need to get some of that too. It's padding that I need, though. It's not rubbing, it's the pounding on my foot because I'm a forefoot striker. Someone suggested medical tape but I didn't have that either. The band aid definitely helped because normally it hurts to walk the whole night after I run and tonight it's sore if I press on it, but I can walk fine. I was worried it would make it worse cause usually it'll get sweaty and then yeah, that's bad. I was surprised that it didn't get all sweaty though.

I don't remember which page this was on, but little kids are just too cute.

The thing with lack of sleep: It really depends on the kid. It wasn't until 8.5months that she started waking up at night. Thankfully, it's usually only once. On the other hand we have friends that their son wound demand food every 2ish hours.

my boss's 7 week old is colicky and eats every two hours on the dot. And takes nearly two hours to eat and all that jazz. That is sticking in my head more this week than the sleep little cutie pie..........eventually the cuteness will win out, but right now I'm like HOW DO YOU SURVIVE THAT?!

Your body adjusts.....and hopefully you can trade off with the spouse. Poor parents!!

I can easily function on 6 hours of sleep a night but my wife needs like 9 hours and she'll still say she's tired the next morning.

aren't you the person who should know this?!

also, what airline you flying to DC? I know one I would not choose.

I could tell you the part number and bring one to you, but no idea why it's the black box. I just saw the plane confirmation. I think it's all US Airways but Republic and Mesa are the actually operators I believe. One way to DC there and a pit stop in Charlotte on the way back.
