I'm watching a Sexual Harassment Prevention video at work right now, in case you were all wondering how my Thursday is going.
100% right on the quiz at the end. Now I know how to harass people without crossing the line.
This one was created by the company I work for so I doubt it.
Makeup helps. In the one commercial that has the "young Flo", real Flo plays a teacher. She doesn't look so good in that commercial.
Had to take those through my job as well. Oddly, though, I thought some of the things they called sexual harassment were bogus. We seem to be erring on the ridiculous side of caution now.
Our faculty tend to dress casually; many are doing fieldwork, so when one is dressed up in a suit & tie, I have in the past made comments like "you look very spiffy today", or "you look good in a suit". Apparently, I'm sexually harassing them.
Casual conversation about spouse, bf, gf, SO is over the line.
I think we're left with talking about the weather...but then there's that whole global warming/climate change debate...
Oh yes, you definitely have to err on the side of caution. Especially if you are a guy.
KC...it's not so much that you say they look spiffy, it's that whenever you do that, you wink, lick your lips, and grab their butt that makes it over the line.
