I hate legal stuff sometimes. It is as if they don't really want the information I am trying to send to them or upload.

But it will be finished tomorrow. To celebrate I'll work on finishing sewing the ribbon blanket.

Quick! Check out the Yardbarker article on the right side of the screen with the Verlander/Upton pics!

BTW.... probably NSFW.

to buy the lot or not to buy the lot, that is the question of the week.

I'm saving my opinions for the truly difficult questions, like eggshell or ecru, duvet or no duvet, stainless steel or nickel-plated

(I had others but they were all really inappropriate. My mind is in the gutter today)

So it's only going to be one question a week?! Maybe this whole house thing will go a lot smoother for all of us here than I thought it would.

oh you wish!

and I can't tell if revkah's !!!! are a sign of excitement that we should buy it or anger at me to stop talking about a house, haha.

I spent a good 90 minutes this morning via messenger showing someone how to use and update an important file they will now use every day for a while. I got all done and was like there you go, now you can use it! Success!

They just asked me to send it to them (some 4 hours later). I'm confused, because they now have the updated version. Well, they did. But after we got off the call, they closed it without saving all the changes we made. It's an Excel file. Which means it asked "do you wish to save" and they said "no".

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

and because I need to continue to not look at work stuff for several more minutes, here is a picture of the lot in question. This is to the west (front of house would face east). I'm standing basically on the lot line, our lot would be the left portion of the picture. The big oak tree is basically the back of the lot. The land further to the west of that is currently farmed and in no plans to be developed for at least 10-15 years, and probably longer.

I'm laughing at you.

My go-to is the backhand. Violence solves eveything.

Look at all that open land where you could probably do all sorts of things, legal or illegal, and probably get away with it with no one being any wiser...

I was trying to encourage you to make a decision. I wish that when we get a home the Scott Brothers could design it and get it done for us, but I know that will never happen. "What do you want?"

"oh just your normal Heat/AC, 3bed, 1.5 bath, library, and a nice kitchen." We'd never get on their show.

hmmmmm that was a great thought until I thought about future kids thinking the same thing. :skeptical:

I've got a really, REALLY embarrassing confession to make. I've found myself spending time on YouTube watching video game game plays. Like, I'm not a gamer. I have a PS3, but it hasn't been played for probably four months and I might play a game on it from time to time usually. But for some reason I find these videos funny and enjoyable. There's definitely something wrong with me.

I love those guys! I yell at the people halfway through the reno who are like "hey, we now want baby mermaids for the pool, moonrock kitchen counters, and a super awesome Italian brick pizza oven, you can add all that for $500, right?"

You have to have unrealistic views of what you want with your budget, as well as the willingness to keep changing and throwing in things during construction if you want to make it on the Property Brothers!

DH does this but he is a gamer. I still find it weird. Though I like to watch and play volleyball, so maybe it's like that? To me it just seems like watching someone else read a book.
