I'm spending this week in my least favorite place on earth - DC. I'm trying to not be crabby about it but I'm failing.
I had a phone interview on Friday with someone in DC. Said the weather was miserable there.
I get to drive from Brookings, SD to Pipestone, MN to talk to a vet at Pipestone Systems. My boss told me I was doing to much desk work and told me to go network. So taxpayers of South Dakota, thank you for the state vehicle and gasoline I don't (directly) have to pay for.
My parents met at South Dakota State, and I have relatives through marriage from Pipetsone.

I hope it's good...I recorded it. I'm still hooked on Falling Skies.
Falling Skies sorta sucks but I keep watching because (1) it's 9:00 Sunday night (2) bad scifi is better than no scifi. Maybe I have watched too much Game of Thrones but I keep watching Falling Skies and thinking jeez just kill him already, jeez just kill her already or jeez just kill it already!
Thought I might like Last Ship but the logic of the weekly plots is so freakin' weak that it's hard to suspend disbelief and get into it. It's not scifi so we are not supposed to have to suspend disbelief to watch. Maybe they should have said that the ship was headed for the mothball fleet before the outbreak because it is apparently a total POS vessel that breaks every 15 minutes. Where are all of the nuc subs that can stay underwater for months? There would be other Navy left.

I know - I loved the first year, and parts of the second...but now it's kind of like, okay - the Vohm & Eshveny (sp) both look alike to me. Are they good or bad? Why is one named Cochise? So that when someone ******* you out in a mostly foreign language for something you didn't do 6 months ago, you can attach allllllllllll the emails to show that no, in fact you did not send me that request. And believe me, when I develop the ability to read minds that you so clearly want me to do since this is not the first time you have apparently believed me to be telepathic, it will be to get rich. Not to anticipate your "I don't have to follow the rules" requests.
