I would be extremely excited if we could get two of these three recruits for 2015.... Ellenson, Ahmad, and Diallo. But we've been here before...heck I'd take one of them at this point. Don't see how we can get Ellenson, tho, when after next year Wisc loses a lot so he'll see immediate playing time, not to mention the lure of Duke.
Similar, but better IMO. If he grows at all, he is an elite recruit, he may be anyways. A 6'6", big, athletic guard with pg skills is a huge recruit.
I want Ellenson BAD. But imo he has Badger written all over him and we don't have a chance. I hope I get proven wrong though.
Gotta give credit to the ISU Staff for hitting the recruiting trail out of the gate hard. I assume Eric Davis is the main draw.

Dime (2015) from IHCC picked up an offer from Dayton.
Pemsl, a Class of 2016 guard/forward from Dubuque, got an offer from Iowa.
Esa Ahmad is blowing up. Maryland and Pitt made in-house visits. He could be a top-50 guy after spring AAU.

We had heard about our interest in him last spring, I thought. But also didn't think the interest remained, but not sure which way. He's certainly risen in the rankings from last year at this time. Maybe we're just on Zagoria's list from last year. Hope he gives us a look.
Hines just reported ISU staff will be in Sacramento for the EYBL event. Aligns with a lot of the in-home visits that were taking place this week.
