Says if he is NBA gm his list of coaches doesn't go farther than the mayor and more likely than not will be in NBA regardless of what kind of relationship he has with Isu

Does Greenberg think Fred could leave before tonight's game?

Re: Seth Greenberg on DP show

Ya heard that....we got a lot of love on the show today.

They talked about "eventually ego takes over tand you want to prove you can do it". I just dont see it. Theres a difference between competitive and egotistical....i cant see him leaving for some bizarre 'need to prove myself' reasoning.

9 hours....41 minutes by the way

These pundits can't handle the idea that Fred would be happy at ISU.

Well he won't leave until after the school year because Wyatt still has to take Paige to Prom

Sometimes I swear the national media pines for the day they don't have to cover ISU.

Didn't Fred say when he got hired that this was his dream job? People need to give all of this speculation a rest.

Yeah, a lot of coaches say stuff like that. Not saying Fred is leaving, but coachspeak means nothing.

I think we are. Im not worried, i dont think most ISU fans are....

But...if you are a GM...you sure as heck are making that phone call. Thus...gives media something to write about.

I suspect he'll go to the NBA someday, whenever he feels ready, and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it so I'm not going to worry about it.

This is pretty much my feeling. Enjoy the hell out of the time he is here, whether thats 5 years or 25 years.

Seth Davis is the definitition of being born on third base. The ONLY reason he has his job covering college basketball is that his parents are good friends with the CEO of CBS
