#4 Iowa State vs. #1 Kansas Semifinal Discussion

KU turns it over a lot. We need to pressure. Not get in a hole.

This was the match up I'd been saying I wanted, but now that we've got it, it makes me nervous. No Embiid should really help our cause offensively, but Wiggins has been playing really well down the stretch.

I don't expect KU to play two sloppy games in a row. Probably can't count on that many turnovers again.

And I'm sure I'm just a paranoid ISU fan, but it's not necessarily Wiggins I worry abut... but Ellis, Tharpe, and Selden. They don't do anything against anyone else but they'll drop dagger after dagger on us as we try to keep Wiggins under control.

Would be 4 straight losses but that would suck too

No he's right. Two regular season losses last year, Big 12 tourney loss last year, 2 regular season losses this year, and then potentially another Big 12 tourney loss.

Anyone know if Wooly's has a TV? I am going to a concert there tomorrow night and really don't want to miss the game.

ESPN U unless you live in Big XII footprint. Then it will be on a local channel.

I live in Cedar Rapids, which probably means they will show American Idol or some BS on FOX 28

Should still be on 28.2 though, as long as you've got access to rabbit ears.

Game is on both ESPNU and the Big 12 Network. However, it may be blacked out on ESPNU in Big 12 States. (I am not blacked out since I am in Missouri even though I can get game over the air.)

It would suck if blacked out on ESPNU in eastern Iowa AND FOX 28 doesn't show it.

Yeah I don't count last year in Ames the same way I don't believe in Santa even though I see him at the mall :-)

Drive it and get it inside and get to the line. I was impressed today though with KU's ability to keep Smart & co. mostly out of the paint, especially on drives in the first half. When you can make Smart settle for jump shots, you have a good chance of beating OSU.

ISU can win this if they just keep pounding inside and the guys don't get into foul trouble against Ellis, Black and Wiggins.

I'll bet the line opens up at -2.5 KU and moves to -3.5 KU by tip off. I will be taking the Clones to cover again as they have the last two games.

So does Cedar Rapids get the Big 12 network?

And why is KU/ISU top 15 matchup on local TV? Shouldn't that be big boy ESPN?

FOX 28 is the affiliate, but they haven't shown Big XII games during the week in a couple years now. They've only had the daytime ones on Saturday. Fingers crossed for good news!

I bet for 6:00pm on a Friday and the semifinals of the conference tourney, vs. Kansas no less, KFXA would show the game. Still, I would call their office to make sure.
