How cold does it have to get for ISU to cancel classes?

I remember another year, The fall of '10 I think? There was a nasty blizzard on like a Tuesday night and a buddy and I walked from his place on Stanton up by the Towers to Paddy's. Was one of the best nights out I ever had in college. Only dedicated drinkers were out that night and the bartenders were being quiet liberal with the libations. Great time.

January or February of my freshman year (2011) there was a morning where classes were cancelled. If I remember correctly it was a combination of impending blizzard and very cold temperatures.
Yep, I was also a freshman that year. A lot of snow with blizzard conditions the night and morning before.

Happened in like '95 when I was in school.

I was in school then too. It got down to -20 real temp (not including windchill). I drove down Welch that afternoon, and every bar had a 20-30 person line to get inside.

Drake cancelled a couple weeks ago (Jan 6) when the first of these really crappy cold days hit. It was January term, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

I really don't think it's that bad today. As long as you are not walking across central campus where it is wide open it feels fine.

So what you're saying is when you're not out in the wind it's not as cold? Can someone confirm this?

Wisconsin I understand, but it doesn't look like it's going to be that ugly in Columbus, temperature wise anyways.
