What is the worst advice you have ever received? From whom? Did you take it and later discover it was terrible, or did you know it was bad immediately?

"You should join Cyclonefanatic, you can just post a few times and it totally won't consume your life."

When I was about 10:

"You have curly hair - you should really cut that short! You won't look at all like Bozo the Clown!"

:skeptical: It took a year to fix that mistake.

Wasn't really advise, but one time a co-worker told a really lame and old joke. I didn't laugh. Co-worker then proceeded to tell me I didn't have a sense of humor.

For some reason the more I thought about it, the more it ****** me off. I don't even remember WHO it was now - but I remember thinking then -that that is one of the worst things a person ever said to me.

"Go for it. It's only a rumor. Worst case scenario you have to use that special shampoo for a couple of weeks. It'll be worth it."

For what it's worth Angie, I think curly hair rox. The Jennifer Aniston look is getting a little old...

Thanks. I figure I can't fight nature, so just embrace the ringlets. It's so terrible on hair to use all of the flat irons and such every single day, and plus curls are unique these days!

"Texas Roadhouse is great! You should go there for dinner tonight. There shouldn't be much of a wait."

"This show called 'Big Bang Theory' is hilarious! You would love it."

"That snowbank looks like a great place to sleep!"

"You should drink that entire liter of Jager tonight"

"Hey, you've been having beer all night, why not a couple shots!"
