Ejim out 4-6 weeks

If cw doesnt delete that thread someone else will get injured. Im srs again. And yes, im extremely superstitious....

Yeah...who was the guy yesterday that didn't believe in superstition? I would like to think he learned something today.

....and Ajk.....you are on everybody's **** list

I've been doing some googling, most say 2-4 weeks depending on factors of course. Unless their is ligament or tendon damage, and then he'd be out for the year most likely. I'm assuming it won't be more than 4.

Especially given what we know about Mel. He's a tough MFer and will come back as quickly as possible.

I say we just slip RV into line up for Michigan, as long as he is here anyway.

Damn it!! This is a huge blow to the nuts... Who is going to take his spot in the starting lineup?

Well that just sucks. So normally I am not pity drinking until end of Q1 of football game but this probably requires a pity drink and since it is halloween, well there goes the entire night and of course tomorrow I start thinking about the KSU game, aw jeez, hope New Belgium is stocked up...

Terrible news, even if he comes back in 4 weeks there is no telling how long before he is back at 100%

Yeah, I'm no doctor but I'd think it might be best to sit him until Big XII play or a game before. Don't need this to be a long-term issue. We'll just accept the fact that non-conference will be even rougher than originally thought.

Maybe we impress Vaughn even more with a win over Michigan without Ejim. :). So Hogue will have to fill in with either Percy or Edozie getting more minutes. I guess it also means more minutes for SDW, Bluford and Naz

The only positive thing I can take away from this is that Fred was able to play with, come back on, and probably beat tOSU without one if our best players, with only a halftime to prepare for it.

Now he has about 10 days (not counting the exhibition) to get something going against some pretty bad team, some okay ones, and an elite one.

thats about it. Percy better get his ******* game together.

Found it.

I was just trying to be positive about the season. Just had this story in my head, as I was reading some stuff from last season.

Travis Hines
DAYTON, Ohio — Iowa State did not have a single player miss time due to injury or illness during the 2012-13 regular season.
That streak didn’t extend to the postseason when senior guard Chris Babb landed on an Ohio State’s player’s foot late in the first half of ISU’s 78-75 heartbreaking loss Sunday in the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
“What a time to have it, huh?” said Babb, his eyes red with the remnants of tears.
The Cyclones struggled initially without their best defensive player, but fought back to take a late lead before ultimately falling to the Buckeyes.
