Breaking Bad

After last night I think the next episode opens the way the half season premier opened with the Ricin. Not much to tell between last night and when he returns.

Agree with a lot of what's being said in the thread. IMO the family aspect is cleared up after that phone call. He really only needs to figure out how to get the money to them(Better call Saul).

I think the last 2 episodes will be about Walt reclaiming his empire and getting revenge against Jesse and the Nazi's. I don't see the, relatively, sunshine and rainbows ending where Walt & Jesse kiss and make up. Jesse won't forgive him for setting up the hit and Walt will never forgive him for being a rat. It will also infuriate him to know that they let Jesse live. I think the gun in the trunk is for the Nazi's and the Ricin is for Jesse. He'll see that as a fitting way to finish Jesse off since he poisoned Brock with Ricin too.

Tried to keep that short, but there is a lot going on.

Walt poisoned Brock with Lily of the Valley, not Ricin.

The next episode is titled 'The Granite State', whose state motto happens to be "Live Free or Die"
Robert Frost was from New Hampshire.
In his poem, 'Nothing Gold Can Stay', the idea of felix culpa has been written.
Felix Culpa per wiki decribes about how a series of unfortunate events will eventually lead to a happier outcome.
Don't know how Walt getting a new pair of eyeglasses fits into anything.

How 'Felina', the name of the final episode, falls into this I don't know. Thought it maybe was synonymous to felix culpa, but doesn't appear to be so.

Frickin great TV. Will be so missed.

I would not think that Walt and his family would have much if any contact the last two episodes. They all know what he did now and going back to them would be too difficult since all of the authorities should also be on to him now.

Everyone keeps mentioning the money and how will come back for that so his family can have it, but he shouldn't really need the money that was stolen from him. He already has 10+ million, plus his family owns the most profitable car wash ever, thanks to the money laundering. So when Walt comes back, I don't know if the money would be any motivation, unless all the assets have been seized from his family.

I still think Walt got the ricin for himself, but I have no idea how exactly it's going to play out.

Will his old company Gray Matter come into play over the last two episodes, and that story line of why he left his old girlfriend? I was reading the Grantland recap and they brought this up.

I hope not, they would be way out of left field, and pretty jarring to the storyline. I think thats all over at this point.

So, last two episodes... have to be the greatest back to back ever, right? This show is incredible and ending on a high note.

I think it would be out of left field as well. IF they were to be back in the story line, I would think Gray Matter would need to be tied to Lydia and the distribution somehow. We have never really known how Lydia got involved in all of this either, that I can remember.

No spoilers please.. but were can I catch up on episode 9 of season 5 on up to current? I just finished up netflix this morning.

thanks!

But the main income source of the car wash was the money laundering, which is now gone.

Itunes has them all I think.

Thanks went back and looked again.. originally didnt see them there. I was looking under season 5. only went to episode 8. Then did a search for season 6 of breaking bad. Nothing came up. But found it under Final Season.

I hope that if I ever become a drug lord that my wife handles herself smarter than Skylar....
