Breaking Bad

Walt is going to use the ricin on himself. The neighbor lady's reaction to seing him is because they showed him all over the news as "WANTED." After kicking around a bunch of possible theories, this is what I am going with.

No one would ever use ricin on themselves. And if that were the case, why would he have an M-60 in his trunk?

I want to know how much time passes between the end of Season 5b Episode 4 (or 5.12, how ever you look at it) and the flash forwards from Season 5b Episode 1 (or 5.9). Only 4 episodes to go but it takes a long time to grow the hair Walt is sporting in those flash forwards. I hope they don't just use an awkward cut scene that says, "6 months later..."

To me that's one of the genius things of this show. The creators are willing to spend as much or as little screen time on something as they feel necessary to tell the story. It allows them to foreshadow things but keeps the suspense of never knowing what to expect next.

Enough! Grammar geeks why have you allowed this? It should be "Breaking Badly."
Because real grammar geeks recognize that adverbs modify verbs, but "bad" is a modifier for the subject. For instance, I could say, "StClone smells bad," which means you need a shower. If I said, "StClone smells badly," it would imply that you don't know how to use your nose properly.

Redditors generally accept that everything that has happened in the series so far has occurred over the course of about 16 months. (Crazy, right?) The flash forward occurs on Walt's 52nd birthday, which would be about 8 months from where the show is at presently.

Why is everyone assuming the flash forward was his birthday. He used a fake ID with Skylars maiden name. Maybe Skylar is dead and it was suppose to be her birthday, or maybe he just picked that day for his ID to get free breakfast.

He did not want the free breakfast, he left a $100 bill on the table. It was showing his bday.

He's got roughly 24 hours to live when he takes ricin, though, right? Maybe it's kind of a deal where he's on some kind of suicide mission where he's either going to die trying or succeed and then die of apparently natural causes?

I don't buy that theory, either, but it's something to go on.

Someone had to post it.

It would be a shame if they killed Jessie off this early. I'm thinking one episode before the season finale would be good. Save the finale for the showdown with Walt and Hank.
