NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

Pop's game plan is solid...he's just getting beat with it tonight since LeBron and DWade are hitting the jump shots and as soon as you jump out, they're getting an easy bucket in the lane.

Spo's game plan was just better.

Wade goes off, credits Spoesltra for winning the game, typical.

Honestly, Spoelstra did outcoach Pop tonight. Going small to start off the game really opened up driving lanes for the Heat. The the big three executed fantastically but Spo had a great gameplan.

Oh give me a break. When Miami's big 3 all show up like this they CAN"T lose. A Phil Jackson coached team would get his *** kicked

You really should have watched this game brah.

Jack, if you argue with Tre in this thread you're basically going to be fighting everyone here. Calm yourself lest we have a 3rd NBA playoffs thread.

Anybody notice how few stats NBA broadcasts give you during the game? I felt blocks for the heat played a huge factor in the outcome of this game but I never saw just how many the heat had.

It's pretty simple really. When Miami shoots like that, they can't be beat. Same thing goes for San Antonio like in Game 3.

not really, I saw Pop daring LeBron and Wade to shoot jumpers and LeBron and Wade did. Credit to them, they did that. Mostly was off PnR action between the two and transition.

If Wade and LeBron play like that the rest of the series, it's obviously over. Only so much the Spurs can take away from them. Pop could have switched things up from game 3, but didn't, that's the only concern I have from it. But his game plan worked perfectly for game 3, so that's why he didn't change a ton defensively. Less Splitter and Ginobili would help the Spurs a lot.

I'm constantly on a stat tracker during most playoff games if I'm into the game, they do give stats a lot less than the wgn/csn/wciu Bulls games I watch all year.

Seriously. One person already got banned 15 minutes ago.

Obviously James, Wade, and Bosh executing were the key to this game, but it was a fantastic gameplan. Like it or not Spo is a good coach. Not the best, but a good coach.

they gave that during the game. They were at 7 at one point I believe 3rd quarter? Not sure on that. They had 16 total in the first 3 games. Better rotations for the Heat, I'll credit Spoelstra with the better defensive effort put forth by Miami.
