NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

Of course Reggie Miller would make a distinction, because if he didn't he'd have to admit to being the greatest flopper in league history. And I say that as a Reggie Miller fan.

Reggie's contribution to basketball deception was mastering kicking his legs out to create contact on jumpers. Others may have done it before but not like him. It was usually real contact, but real contact he created every time.

As a Bulls fan I always remember this play

This is why the NBA officiating is so frustrating. What has been called tonight is so different than what was called in game 5

YOU CAN'T CALL ON OFFENSIVE FOUL ON ME!!! I AM LEBRON EFFING JAMES, THE CHOSEN ONE!!!

When you complain and cry about EVERY call against you...I guess that's what is left to do when you're actually upset. Run laps around the building crying.

When I turned the game on for the first time it was LeBron on the floor with Allen, Mike Miller, Norris Cole and Armstrong?

Oofta. What a lineup.

Dwayne Wade is a shell of what he used to be. I wonder if he can ever bounce back or if this the start of a sudden and sharp decline. If it's the latter then get ready for Act Two in Cleveland for Lebron featuring the new Big Three of Lebron, Kyrie Irving, and Nerlens Noel. Actually, get ready for it either way.

Good to see that LeBron gets the benefit of the doubt on all the calls. If that was any cyclone player you would feel the exact same as LeBron.

I know you mean Irving. But yea, it does seem like its gonna happen.. Mike Brown coaching again, plus the players they're surrounding LeBron with in Miami he could get anywhere else.

Fun to watch the second half, but I can't shake the feeling that Lebron is just going to go nuclear in Game 7 and beat the Pacers by himself. I hope I'm wrong; an Indy/San Antonio Finals would be tv ratings death but for hardcore basketball fans it would be a really interesting matchup.

I just have to say that my hate for the Heat grows every game. It's like they enjoy making themselves easy to dislike. It really irritates me to watch so much talent play like they are absolutely disinterested (Wade/Bosh i'm referring to you) and then ruin their reputation with so much flopping and whining and that applies to everyone, especially LeBron.

Yes. he has an opt out clause.

All three have the same one don't they? If this is playoff Bosh/Wade going forward they are going to face some cap issues to have a great team even if they get the steady stream of vets looking for a ring. Should be interesting to see how it unravels if the 8peat turns into one out of 3.

If I were pretending to be GM and they don't win this year, I'd try to hold it together with a new coach even given the questions about Wade.

I don't think I'd let Spoelstra go unless I was certain Phil Jackson or Jerry Sloan was interested in the job. (So basically I wouldn't let him go) While Spoelstra isn't the best coach in the NBA, he is still in the top half of coaches, and probably better than another coach coming into Miami.
