plenty of time for an announcement then. I mean they already released a press release for a GA being promoted to Director of Player Development. I thought this was guaranteed.

I know the hiring process takes time. I get that, but I am getting a vibe that perhaps Doc Sadler will not wind up in Ames as our Assistant Coach. I doubt the media or sources would announce that coach Sadler is not coming here. Whatever Coach Hoiberg decides is the best fit for Assistant Coach, I am sure it will be a reputable dude.

Hoiberg was set on Doc until he saw my application, now he's not sure what to do. Hire an experienced former head coach who knows how to coach great defense, or hire myself. A 19 year old who can relate to the players and recruit better like most of Cyclone Fanatic wanted.

Fred took CF's advice and decided that Doc wasn't a good enough recruiter. Fred knows best, and if Fred thinks that CF is the place to go for coaching advice, then I am ok with that.
