NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

This is funny, because it is kind of true. Not because he is playing bad or 'choking' in the 4th quarter. But because he is having to do more scoring and carry more of the load currently than last season and his teammates are just not playing well.

That comment was because of the 2 late turnovers.

Yep, you can already see the narrative that ESPN is going with... Miami deserves to win in 4, but Indiana STOLE the game tonight:

Yeah, you don't really steal a game when you lead for almost the entire 48 minutes of two games in a row on the road. I guess they stole the game in that the officials called four completely nonsensical fouls in a row on Indiana to make it close in the second quarter, and they still overcame that huge hurdle thrown in their way.

I would love to see the scoring breakdown of the first ten minutes versus the last two. If the Pacers could close out quarters, this would be an easy 2-0 lead.

Memphis has a must win tonight. I think they will pull it off, they finally showed what they were capable of in the fourth quarter of game two. If they can put together a complete game, they should win at home. And they have already come back from a 0-2 deficit this playoffs against the Clippers, so if they win tonight, I still give them a good shot at the series.

For the record, coming back from being down 0-2 twice in the same playoffs has never been done before.

Yeah, well, OKC did it against SA last year too.

I also don't think 2-0 is actually that big of a hole for a good team. Memphis just has to win at home, and win one out of two on the road.

I think the real difficulty with it is having to win 4 out of 5 games. Not a lot of room for error, but I agree it is possible and always hinges on that huge game 5.
