Biggest Pet Peeves

Believe me, there are more reasons than that as to why you shouldn't cheer for the Broncos :-)
Now there's like 5 reasons though, I don't live in an adjacent state, my parents aren't fans, and I've only seen them twice and never in Denver.

Stopping at a 4-way stop sign. Then watching a cyclist coming on the cross road, totally blow through the stop sign.

One of these times I'm going to challenge bicycle with my minivan. I bet I win.

Talking about bicyclists, motorcycle drivers can be just the same. I have seen several times when motorcycles will blow through a red light (turning left) for most of the cycle. I know a lot dont do it, but I see it more and more.

Very true. In Chicago they'll weave through the cars to the front of the line at a stoplight just so they can get ahead. Super annoying, and dangerous.

People that get into the left turn only lane, sit there with their left turn signal blinking and when they get the green arrow think about it for a while as if they aren't sure they actually want to turn left. Then the car behind them does the same thing.

This thread is making me mad. :arghh:

Cool down. Here's some popcorn and grab a seat by me. No idea where this thing might go, but it could be someplace very entertaining. I'm currently trying to figure a good way to flare the bicyclist debate up again.

People who have no connection to a sports team, but cheer for them and wear their gear anyway, i.e. all hok fans, pretty much all Yankee fans, people wearing Oregon gear in Iowa...

We live in Iowa. Pretty sure most Royal, Cub, Twin, and Cardinal fans in the state have no connection with those teams, either. What team a person cheers for is their own business, I don't care. The ones who **** me off are the ones who claim they're Yankee fans (for example, but it applies to quite a few others) and can't name any player on the roster outside of Jeter, A-Rod and Sabathia. Most of the Yankee fans I knew in high school (usually girls) were like that; meanwhile, I despised NY and could rattle off their starting lineup off the top of my head.

As for all the Iowa fans with no connection to the university: stop whining. If you think, for one second, that Jamie Pollard wouldn't die to have the number of casual/tavern fans Iowa does, you've got no understanding of how college athletics work. The more fans you have, the more money you make. You don't get points for have a purebred fanbase.

Loud cars and motorcycles. Are you too stupid to realize you need a muffler or do you think it's cool? Either way, you're a *******.

This has been touched on already, but if a cyclist has both an option to ride a good solid sidewalk along a road or actually ride in the road itself, what should he do? Go!!! Also, feel free to get into the cyclist/walker right of way debate on campus if you'd like as well. I think that one might even have more potential in it.
