Horrible half, eight points is way closer than it could be. Manageable. Just need to keep that intensity high.

Same game plan as last time by both teams. They won the last meeting. Giving their bugs 17 footers didn't work last time......not working today. Also if you are not hitting the three....penetrate ......baby began to penetrate last game against our and scored 12 points....get to the line...they are over playing us on the outside... that leaves the backdoor and room for penetration.....so yes out coached...
Ugly half but we kept it close enough to give ourselves a chance. Obviously we need to shoot it better, but i feel we have to be much better on the boards as well. Though they only lead 20 to 18 on boards and offensive rebounds are even it just feel like they are scoring a lot more on second chance points.

We are in it. Hopefully we won't go 1-12 from 3-point land in the 2nd half. Fred said we need to create the open looks (like we did early, only they didn't fall) rather than rushed shots, and we need to do better at rebounding.
CFH seems aware of the challenges, and I'm anxious to see what he does to address them. Go Cyclones!
I really think Babb needs to make some moves on offense. Drained his three, then next trip good penetration and pass, didn't get the foul call but should have. I think he can take the guy they have on him
I feel like I'm watching big east basketball... All the hacking and shoving on rebounds. Our team's weakness is teams that get physical like this. I really hurts us when the refs call the game like this. Our team doesn't react and become more physical. (With the exceptions of Booker, Ejim and Babb)
Terrible half but the upside is it can't get much worse from a shooting standpoint. As soon as they went away from Osbey they weren't as effective, so it might be a good idea to take him away. As Osbey goes so goes OU.
So where are we at here. Disgusted? Hesitantly continuing to watch? Giving up? Pleased?

Scary start... but you would think that if any team could get hot from the 3 and get back in it ... it would be the Cyclones! Seems like everyone goes unconsious against us when they shoot... Let's return the favor guys!

They changed the way the tournament works this year, they actually play TWO halves, and not just one, just in case you were going to turn your TV off.
