I don't think he's going to Wisconsin, but I don't think the offense he's running here is the reason why.
"Bret used my game plan to win," Alvarez said. "The coach that I will hire will be someone that will have to understand who we are, how we go about our business. I don't look to change a whole lot in how we operate things here."
What an ***, no wonder Bielema bolted. Hope CPR is reading some of these quotes if he's actually feeling tempted to bolt.

It is definitely part of the reason though. I think Alvarez even stated that he wants a guy that runs his stuff. Bielema ran a lot of his stuff and had success. Rhoads leaving for Wisconsin is ridiculous anyway, but I don't anticipate Alvarez bringing in a guy that doesn't run most of his bread and butter.
Well, anyone that was worried before can stop now. Paul isn't going to be Barry's boy. Period.
My guess is Chris Petersen will be the next Wiscy coach. According to this radio station, he's interviewing on Monday.

Petersen would be a coup for Wisconsin. Would be an upgrade IMO, and solidify Wisky as one of the best in the B1G. I still think Wisky gets moved into Iowa/Nebbie's division, which will suck for them...
I'm surprised. I would think Petersen would not want to be under Alvarez's thumb. He's more than qualified for a LOT of jobs out there.
