*** Official ISU vs. Texas Gameday Thread ***

I don't ever want to see Steele Jantz again. I am entirely done with him. And I'm now in the camp that wants to see Mess fired. How on earth do you go against the run game when it is working on so many key drives.

Now would be a perfect time to put Richardson in at QB. No pressure at all, the game is out of reach, might as well see what he can do in a Big 12 game.

God I'm beginning to hate some of the so-called fans in this thread! Some of these fans are the pathetic ones today.

I don't blame the defense at all. You can't expect them to manufacture
momentum over and over. We freaking have 7 points against a TERRIBLE defense. If we had Tulsa's offense--or Northern Illinois or Utah State's we would have way more than 7 against Texas right now.
So its alright to give up a bomb for a td to let Texas go up by 14? What about trying to tackle but being awful at it? How is the offense supposed to get any momentum for itself? The whole team was awful today.

Texas put the horns to us today. We looked lost today on defense. The offense was its usual self. We looked slow. We gotta be ready for KU next week, they have gotten things figured out. Gonna be tough.

With all the hype this week of Mack Brown being a classy coach sending Jake a letter, he sure is being a di¢k throwing it deep up 23 in the 4th quarter

This team won't beat KU next week, let alone wvu the following week...bowl game is a no go this year. Back to reality for the homers...

My road history (non bowl games):
Iowa 2004
Iowa 2006
Texas 2006
Kansas 2007
Missouri 2009
Texas A&M 2009
KSU@Arrowhead (2x)
All losses.

Going to kansas next week. Figured i'd finally get to see a road win. Not so sure about it now.

Until Rhoads can get better recruits, which I highly doubt will happen, we will never have more than a 6-7 win ceiling.

I've been saying this for over a year now, and usually I get blasted but there's just no way around it. We play in a conference that is right on the heels of the SEC, and filled with top 25 teams and talent. We are maxing out at 6 regular season wins, and that pretty much assumes you beat Iowa.

When the commentators call out the demeanor of your quarterback you know it's time for a change.

This is just an example of a better team beating down an inferior team. Same as last week, sometimes the better team wins. Just have to get better and beat KU. Lot to play for yet.
