Disappointed with Nealy

I admit I have bought into the hype of Nealy. But was anyone else ****** at his behavior on the field. I couldn't tell if it was just frustration with the offense or if he was being a selfish jerk. I understand the frustration but I still don't think it warrants a TT by freshman trying to get playing time.

Couldn't disagree more.

I loved the emotion Nealy expressed. I'd be concerned if he didn't show anything after that inept performance by the offense.

You know what I have a problem with? None of the upperclassmen will show any sort of emotion or let anyone have it but our redshirt freshman RB is.

I think he was frustrated just like the rest of the team was. Somebody was going to blow a gasket sooner or later. Let's not blow it out of proportion.

My favorite part was the screen Steele threw him and it hit the turf like 3 yards before Nealy and he just wound up and punched the ball away. It's like, get those crap throws out of here and let's play some damn football.

Nothing wrong with having a guy that wants to win....

Well yeah obviously but his little childish rant in the 4th quarter was just stupid. It was Steele's second play for crying out loud and it's not like Nealy had a ton of room to run anyway. I didn't see him ******** at Barnett for missing like 15 passes terribly. Friggin shut up and play, and don't hype out like a little kid because a bad pass was thrown your way. The next pass wasn't good either but Nealy fumbled it around like a girl and eventually dropped it. I suppose Steele should have lashed out on him.

This isn't pee wee football. Sometimes players get into altercations and tell each other to F off. Showing emotion happens. If all that happened was what we saw on the field, then it's a complete non-issue.

My only problem with it is that it throws your teammate under the bus and that isn't cool. Showing emotion does NOT constitute someone caring or being passionate. There are some cases the person is flat out being an *** hole and others they're truly passionate. Unfortunately very few players on Iowa State's offense play with anything resembling passion, whether they're half-assing blocks, blitz pickup, etc.

This. I don't really care if he gets upset with his QB, but then you better **** well make a play when the opportunity presents itself, especially the very next play. SMH
