LIVE now 23 mile skydive

That was incredible to watch... I don't think I'll ever forget that image of him jumping from the pod in space...

It was really amazing to see how fast he fell once he left that pod.
And then when they showed him going 700ish mph how he was flipping and tumbling through space, that had to be a scary feeling.

I think that was on purpose to slow his speed down. But yes absolutely incredible! Would be very scary!

"He unofficially achieved supersonic speed at 729 MPH, which is the fastest a human has ever traveled."

Fastest speed they estimated on the feed was 729mph, which is short of the speed of sound (761mph).

But that may have been supersonic based on his altitude. I don't know what it is that high up, but its probably less than 761 because of the lack of air pressure.

Enjoy watching again:

What he said before the jump:

"I know the whole world is watching now and I wish the whole world could see what I see. Sometimes you have to get so high just to know how small you really are."
