Twitter... (TCU CB says something stupid)

Maybe its just me, but I get the feeling this is the case. Between listening to Pattersons presser today and the rumor that they were resting people this week, they seem to be awfully confident.
GP's MO has never been overconfidence more like over fear or over cautious. He doesn't like giving out injury reports, closes practice from reporters, we didn't even have an open spring game this year which he even downplays every year by calling it a scrimmage. He usually gets wrapped up with all the coachisms about winning by 1 more point, playing em one at a time, etc. He was also very complimentary of ISU's defensive line and offensive line's size and discussed the fear of them doing a number of trick plays (fake punts, onside kicks, etc.).

TCU also lost its 20th player this year with the mentioning of Austin Terry leaving the team for medical disqualification. So the one thing I don't think it would be is confidence. They play up to this point would not support that type of thought. Instead, it has been a long and crazy offseason and football season already. And TCU hasn't even got into the heart of the Big12 schedule yet.

My guess is you were seeing him come up for air so to speak rather than pass any judgment on any opponent. He has already given the we have to take X opponent very seriously already 4 times. I highly doubt he thinks Iowa State is a worse opponent than Virginia, Grambling and Kansas.

The other thing that he might have been happy about is the release of the information about TCU setting up to play Ohio State in a home and home series. Frankly, he is probably just happy to be out of the rain from the SMU game and in some dry clothes.

He's probably happy he passed the drug test. You know, cuz he goes to TCU.

I get your point, but you're coming across as worried about this and as if you're trying to calm the possible effects of such an arrogant act by one of your players.

This is when you see one of our non-smurf receivers slap this guy in the helmet on Saturday and pick up a 15-yd penalty. 2nd guy always gets caught.

Kid must have just watched game film of ISU's offense.

Dude...shut up!!! There's horned frogs in herr...

On a lighter note, with TCU losing 20 players so far...ATCUPHG? Angry TCU Player Hating God? Apparently, they're being smited by the almighty.

<runs up to the roof to check the lightning rods>

They're not being smited, they're being tested. Like Moses and the flood. King David and the Whale. Prophet Ehud and Bathsheba.

Well he probably saw the tape of 73 pass yards against tech......into shocked of his comments. If tcu's qb looked like SJ, we would be feeling pretty confident too

Now his whole account is deleted. Can't wait to see his pretty purple helmet all scuffed up with cardinal from taking shots to the head. Sure talks a lot if **** for someone who's team color is purple.

I hope TCU loses every Big 12 game they play. I don't care how many WVU wins, but for some reason I just don't like TCU. It might be because of that weird nubbed finger horned frog thing they do, but it annoyed the crap out of me at the Houston Bowl back in 05.

I'm not sure what that hand gesture is, but I typically refer to it as the "Little Bunny Foo-Foo."

No, Little Bunny Foo Foo bops the field mice on the head, he get turned into a goon.

I don't like the idea of TCU doing the bopping, unless it results in a flurry of hankies and 15 yard penalties.

But remember the good fairy comes and turns bunny foo foo into a goon. I guess I am having a hard time figuring out why the good fairy turned the bunny into a goon. Are goons capable of bopping field mice too?
