I almost forgot the third most used insult you guys throw around. no, I did not attend kirkwood. I was fortunate enough to come from a family with enough money ( provided by a U of I education) to go directly to Iowa on out of state tuition from Colorado. and the tavern fan argument is also ridiculous since most schools appreciate the support from outside sources where as in Colorado there is so much competition from pro sports that the majority of people don't even care about college athletics. it is not an uncommon site to see Colorado state students wearing Alabama or Texas gear or whatever team they support. the tavern fan bias is such a second tier,pointless discussion ( ask Alabama and USC if tavern fans bother them). it is like saying that if an ISU graduate has a kid that the child cannot cheer for ISU until they enroll (possibly) at the university. why would you not want your children to cheer for a favorite school even if they choose another calling i.e. military and refrain from going to college, that is ridiculous.
