I'm kind of shocked Alabama and Texas have to spend so much money, but I suppose they really roll out the red carpet for their recruits.

And Tennessee? What in the world either they are the only ones being honest on these forms or their recruits are getting some extra perks.

Interesting. Can anyone explain why Tennessee is spending 3x as much as the most schools??

Because Tennessee is good.....oh wait they were in last place last year. Also we spend more than Iowa?

Iowa gets a lot of their recruits from Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and more regional states. we have to cast our net wider to find the players, usuallly getting a few from California, Florida being huge, and Texas not exactly being close either. This all costs more. I am glad we are spending more money.

yep. The more national your recruiting strategy the higher your recruiting budget.

Ga Tech increased their spending from '10 to '11 by 371k, or a 72.7% increase. UVa had the largest increase of BCS schools at 79.8%.

Also, Texas increased their spending by 75%. About time those guys took recruiting seriously. (no jimlad needed I hope)
