Bleacher Report - What to steal from JTS

They can't be brought down, by 1000s of students what makes you think they could be stolen.

Yet somehow you think someone could steel the scoreboard? Just curious.

In regards to stealing the goal post. I remember when we won at Iowa City for the first time in 98 and for the next few years tearing down the posts was a every win theme. I was down on the field testing out the new "tear down proof" post with no success. The next win someone snuck in a socket set and started to unbolt the post on the north in. Gene Smith was AD then and he started pushing kids out of the way screaming about someone getting hurt. He was a scary dude when he was mad. They would have come down though had he not been there!

I was in the Utah lockeroom when ISU played them in Ames. When the team arrived they did their walk throughs to check out the field and what not. The officials then came in and asked Wittingham if he had any rules questions. The first thing he had notice was the north endzone goal post was too short. He said normally he cant jump and touch the goal post. Was very interesting that he even thought to look at that and that ISU has a goal post too short.

We will see what happens but hiring Charlie looks a lot like getting a date with that hot girl from High School after 30 years. There is some history of being good, but it is hard to see right now....
Yeah, but the pizza joints are happy again.

While the video board is nice, I think the turf is the true gem of the stadium.

It's amazing we sit and watch the DLine completely tear everything up around the goalposts in warm-ups every game yet every week we come back and it's perfect again. Just incredible!

I would also suggest stealing the tailgating atmosphere at JTS. Some of the best tailgating in the country.
