***Official Calm Down Post-Baylor Thread***

Played ok, Baylor made more shots they won. We were pretty sloppy and didnt hit a lot of shots.
 
Yeah... not really upset. Baylor is a really talented team, and we played like crap. Get them at home and win our next 2. That's all. This one doesn't really sting.

Had our chances, missed some bunnies. Also their bigs were hitting the jumper so it was a pick your poison at that point. Move out on them and they pass over us.

We get them in Ames, we will finish 11-7

One thing we know about this team if they get beat they come out with an attitude in their next game.
 
Here are some 'calm down' facts for you regarding our RPI after this loss:

Before: RPI rank #39 (0.5913) with a SOS rank of #61 (0.5527)

After: RPI rank #39 (0.5918) with a SOS rank of #51 (0.5603)


That's right, even though we lost the SOS jumping 10 spots actually improved are overall RPI by a smidge. While the human perception won't be quite as nice, when the committee sits down and looks the numbers this loss won't mean a whole lot.
 
I wouldn't call it a blowout, either. Junk time at the end. That wasn't the worst game we've played, either.

Baylor is good. But we are better than we played tonight.
 
We couldn't hit anything, and they hit everything. We will destroy OU, maybe by more than a&m.

We're NOT melting down over this loss? Is that official?

Damm, and I climbed this watertower and froze my *** off for nothing? You know how hard it is to climb a watertower while carrying a rifle, 100 rounds of ammo and a bottle of blackberry brandy when there's ice on the ladder rungs?

I was set for a full "Gotterdammerung" meltdown after losing to a Top 10 program in their house, but if the verdict is "calm down" I guess I can wait.

Well we didn't match up well with them last year and look what happened. I still think this team beats Baylor in Hilton.
 
Need a little more D from Percy, and he'll be a good one. Right now his upside is offense, and offensive rebounds.

You can go ahead and go up, but make sure you hit Clones21 with all 100 rounds. :jimlad:

Sorry CyLent Bob, you caught the more resilient side of CF, I guess.

Can't you leave the rifle up there? It would be a lot handier, for next time.

Oh yeah, that will be a while. Forget my idea, then.
