I am upset tonight not saying at all the season is done for, but we have a long ways to go. I just expect more passion and hustle on the court and have not seen that at all this year.

What game were you watching! We self destructed! We played less than good in the 1st half. Went on a run in the 2nd and actually showed signs of what Id hoped wed look like this year but then as soon as this went against us we completely gave up.

This is exactly what I saw.

That is why I like what I am seeing.

We came out and slapped UNI in the face, made some mistakes (we are only 5 games in) got down by a little. Came back after half, slapped UNI in the face again, and then made some more mistakes which UNI capitalized on. I think we looked better overall than we have in any game this year. And we will learn from this loss and move forward. ON TO MICHIGAN!

You just know that if you give up on the season you give up on going to games, and if you give up going to the games you give up on walking tacos and clone cones. I see right through this false optimism.

I actually don't eat many clone cones, but you've got me on the tacos.

I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON MY WINTER FOOD!!!!!!!

Let's be honest here. We've all had games where the walking taco was the highlight. That's just part of life.

But never had a game where the Hilton popcorn was the highlight (I see your optimism, and raise you some pessimism.)

When ISU loses to Michigan how often can we keep saying we are improving? There is only so much a team can physically improve. Right now I don't see a team that has any fire in them or enough grit to win on the road. We are mentally soft.

Your right, self destruction with occasional flashes of mediocrity is reason to be thrilled about the prospects of this team.

UNI and Creighton are able to get players who buy into a system and become a TEAM. So far, we seem to have some good players. Period.

How does mcdermot beat us at UNI, and then losses to them while he's here, but then goes to creighton and wins games there?

Blows my mind to be honest. I thought we had good bball tradition and players.

Don't hurt yourself stretching buddy,

What I'm saying is, I didn't see anything that I liked in our game until tonight. UNI is no slouch of a team and was our hardest game to date.

Yes it is okay to lose to UNI at home and Drake at home who just got spanked by Boise ******* State. Wow some of you need to wake the **** up and not except this kind of crap we were at home tonight against a not very good UNI team, we got out coached big time. Oh but yes lets just except it WRONG!!! Not saying UNI sucks or not giving them credit, but they are not an veteran team.

I am embarrassed and do not except this type of losing at all, we pay good money for these tickets which is thrown down our throats to do all the time by the athletic dept. and this is the showing we get at home against an MVC team!! Get ******* real people.

Wow...I'm not usually all over someone for a spelling error, but come on... You might not be very old, so this is fixable. You aren't going to fix it all in one day though. Learn one thing at a time. Start by trying to google "run-on sentence" for tonight. My thoughts and prayers go out to your current and future english teachers.

Isn't popcorn the type of food you can't screw up unless you burn it?

There is certainly good and bad popcorn. Cooking popcorn is actually very nuanced and particular, much like coaching. Which brings me back to my main point, we don't appear to be well coached at this time.
