How about Jeff Woody?

That second run was amazing, talk about determination. For a second I though he'd break free and get the TD there.

Seriously, if Jeff Woody ever fumbles the ball, he's dead. Get the medics on the field.

He fumbled last year. I admit, I haven't been the biggest Woody fan in the past. I didn't think he really had the vision to be a RB with his kind of speed, but I have come around. Man, that 2nd run in OT was awesome.

Woody gives us such a great change of pace to White. It's a heck of a lot more challenging to defend when you have 2 backs doing very different things when carrying the ball. Sheer determination by Jeff and the offensive line in OT to get the win. Everyone knew the ball would be in his hands. He still scored.

Phenomenal

The 2nd run was just gorgeous. Bouncing off guys, running over guys, plowing through guys. All I could think of was:

"HE WAS A BOWLING BALL OUT THERE! THEY DIDN'T WANT ANY PART OF HIM! THEY DIDN'T WANT TO TOUCH HIM!"

He has to balls to run tough up the middle which we need. In today's college football, you don't see alot of fullbacks playing. Would I keep him as an every down back? **** NO. He aint that good.
Woody is good for about 6 to 10 carries a game. We're just lucky that his carries are at the end of the game.

Woody had a big fumble last year against Nebraska but its obvious that he's earned the coaching staffs trust. He gets the ball down the stretch when protecting the ball is important. His running style is a good contrast to our other backs and I think defense spend more time thinking about how to stop our read option look and aren't ready for Woody's rumbling style.

+1 for the reference that many won't get.

Seemed like Coach Rhoads got his guys into the locker room and fed 'em pudding at halftime.

yes sir, i am
but am more proud of him making all academic team too!

Congratulations - you have alot to be proud of both on the field and academically.
You had to be one of the most excited people at the game Friday night.

Just went back and watched the 2nd OT. If you go back on Woody's run's Kurt Hammerschmidt made huge blocks on all of those runs. Albert Gary helped too. Great all around team blocking on those 3 plays

That's the point of using him.

I don't think people realize what running all those bubbles did to OSU outside of obvious yardage gains. Not only did we run a bunch more plays than they did, we were going sideline to sideline. Once we got to the end of that game, that defense barely had a pulse. You bring in a guy like Woody and they didn't stand a chance. It has been pretty obvious to me over the last 2 seasons that we are among the best conditioned teams out there. I don't recall a late game situation where we were gassed. OSU was just plain out of fuel.
