Name a guy with large arms who is an outstanding shooter. I'm not saying you're wrong I just can't think of an example.
Usually great shooters are really lean.

LeBron has huge arms (relative to a b-ball player, not a left tackle) and he can stroke it. I would say worrying that we're too muscular should be the last concern in the world we have.

Reggie Miller? Kevin Durant? Ray Allen's arm's aren't short. Rashard Lewis. Dirk Nowitzki. Scottie Pippen.

LeBron is a brick layer. It's not a muscle thing though.

He may not be that clutch, but he's a pretty decent shooter overall. I guess I wouldn't hate it if Royce put up his stats. That is the only guy that I would say "has big arms" on our team, so my point is that worrying about our guys being too muscular is..........pretty dumb.

Railey has a future if he can keep his head on straight. He has size and can make the occasional 15 footer. We don't need him to be Dwight Howard, he just needs to get comfortable with his role and he will get minutes.

He can also make the occasional fadeaway 35 footer off the glass. That shot is nearly impossible to defend.

I think you might be selling Railey a little short. He has shown that he can knock down that 15 foot jumper from the baselines with consistency. If he can refine his game and improve on the defensive side (including not fouling every time), he can turn into a great role player on this team.

I think he's got a little more work to do than just 'refining'...

I hope we don't. This line up is just begging to be full court pressed.

against a slow it down team like Nebraska this could work..obviously though this is a lineup that shouldn't be out there for 2 minutes or more

I agree but I wouldn't use LeBron as my shooting example.

I don't see any of our players who look too bulky to shoot. what we see are guys like Ejim, Babb, Allen, Booker, McGee, even Scott who look like full grown, men - and for the first time in a while we won't be an under-developed squad. This will be an asset, not a weakness.

I want to see this line up at some point:
Royce 6-8
Babb 6-5
Ejim 6-6
Booker 6-9
Railey 6-11

Maybe in a tug-of-war, but never in a college basketball game (well maybe back in the George Mikan era). It's hard enough to get by with one guy on the court who can't shoot or pass.

Karl Malone. Biggest arms I've seen on any bball player and a great shooter. Fizer wasn't bad either.
