MLB: CARDS

Good gosh, is there a more annoying fan base in the world when it comes to having cutesie little nicknames for every player on the team and about 50 variations to their team name?

Yes, bitter Cubs fan here but was reading up on the playoffs and couldn't get through this thread without puking. Good luck tonight.

There may not a more annoying fan base in the world, period. Best fans in baseball my ***. To be fair, a lot of baseball players have cutesy little nicknames. Yours would be wonkie.

I for one would not like that!
The Brewers are under intense pressure - this was their window year, prince will be gone and this is the year they need to get in - surprised it went to 5 and now won't be surprised if they lose.

"You'll get'em next year" :psmile: - as said for 103 years now.

Ah, someone shortens ONE name down and it's got a Cub fan's panties in a bunch. Maybe you can go throw a tantrum with BIG Z. Or Hank White. Or The Riot (Cubs take that credit). Or D Lee. I could go on. The hypocrisy is thick with this one....

Cards...Cardinals...Red Birds...Cubs...Cubbies....

We have one more...you got us there!

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Why would you want the Twins to face the Phils in the WS?

Oh wait...

OK, #1. Your team got lucky and was barely able to sneak in at all this year. And #2. Newsflash for the cocky Card fans, the Twins have MORE WS titles since 1987 than you do including '87 when they beat who again? OH YEAH, the Cards!!!

LOL @ "got lucky" when the Cards finished the year 23-8 to "sneak in" with 90 wins. Meanwhile the almighty Twins were one game shy of losing 100.

Really? Going to brag about winning two World Series titles 20+ years ago?

Time for a big boy conversation about baseball. It's like a ride at an amusement park where "you must be this tall to ride". "You must have this many World Series titles to join the conversation." Sorry, 3 doesn't cut it. Cards are #2 all time in WS titles and #2 all time in postseason wins. Arguing that the Twins have had more success over any period of time is like arguing Kansas has more tradition than Alabama or Michigan because they played in the 2008 Orange Bowl. SMH.

Win or lose tonight, the Cards will remain the most storied franchise in the National League and light years ahead of the Minnesota Twins. Try again next century

This might be the lamest butt hurt comeback I have ever seen. :wideeyed:

We should give a **** about all your WS titles before I was even ******* born?? And all your playoff wins that are pretty much worthless without winning it all?

Ya, pot meet kettle. No matter how "storied" your franchise is, your team this year is just not that good and pretty boring to watch. Forgive me for wanting to see the best teams go at it. Oh, and we'll see how well you do next year without Pujols and with Wainwright coming off surgery. Good luck with that.

Well my grandma is 84, can we worry about all the WS titles since SHE was born? Good Lord. You can go back to '87 for your benchmark but that is the only benchmark that can be used. Pathetic.

Oh and our "team" scored the most runs in the NL. Boring to watch? I guess if you like 1-0 games all the time, they are boring. You are truly out-doing yourself here. Keep going please.

Did some St Louis fan kick your cat? Jebus relax. The Cardinals are a storied franchise with the 2nd most titles in history. And if the Twins had that you would not be discrediting the titles the twins won before you were born.

Did either of you even read the bolded first part of my statement? It was in response to him saying basically nobody cared about our titles 20+ years ago. So if nobody cares about more recent history, why would we care about 40+ year ago history?

No I didnt, and frankly dont care. All I read was your diatribe against hating on STL and you gloating about the 2 twins titles.
