I agree. 9 months ago, I would have said that we had no business keeping it under 20 against a ranked team, let alone #3.

I am not a guy who does the moral victory thing, but we match up terrible with these guys, have one of our top scorers playing hurt, and had the game within reach all night. We are short handed, an inconsistent as a result. But we are getting there.

Great effort by the boys tonight! Really disappointing to watch the **** poor defense though. I swear if I see JVB watch another shot go up and not box out or let his guy do anything he wants on D im going to lose my mind.

I hope in Lawrence we try a lot more zone to keep the Morris twins (in particular Marcus) under control a little more. Do that and we should have a halfway decent chance to stay in that one too.

We have been right in there every game so far. We're not a team that will dominate... but you have to take your hat off to the Mayor. These guys are here to play. Looks like there aren't any easy games for us this season... Colorado!!!??? This team is very close to being very good...

There's ways to get after it on defense without fouling. What I'm seeing from him is shear laziness.

Just a guess, but I'm assuming the man-to-man defense was so our team was in position to get some rebounds. Rebounding was a big concern for this game.
