Rhoads mentioned on CBSSports for Pitt

Re: Rhodes mentioned on CBSSports for Pitt

Can we add "Rhodes" to the language filter so it just automatically changes to Rhoads? I'll put up with the few instances in which Rhodes is actually correct and is unnecessarily edited.

Re: Rhodes mentioned on CBSSports for Pitt

I suppose we could expect his name to come up, and I don't see it happening, but I sure don't like to see it even printed as a possibility:

Holgorsen and Rhoads mentioned for Pitt job - CBSSports.com

"When asked for the primary reason for considering a jump from Iowa State, Rhoads said, 'I'm kind of tired of people not knowing how to spell my name right. I mean, it's very frustrating'."

I agree. And we should change the security question for people registering for the message board to "Who is the current FB coach at Iowa State?" so that way if they don't spell "R H O A D S" correctly, they will not be able to register :)

I'll add another vote for the language filter idea. Don't autocorrect, just change it to ****** just like ******, ****, and meekrab.

Re: Rhodes mentioned on CBSSports for Pitt

Maybe its just me, but not taking the time to know how to spell one's name, especially one like Rhoads, just shows no respect.

Re: Rhodes mentioned on CBSSports for Pitt

I don't think he would leave for Pitt and the Big East while he still has family here......AND unfinished business!!!

Re: Rhodes mentioned on CBSSports for Pitt

And we're suppose to take this writer seriously when he says this....

"There's also Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads, who served as defensive coordinator at Pitt from 2000-2007 before leaving to take his current job in Ames."

Seems to me there might have been a gig at Auburn in there as well. But why worry about facts when speculation is sooooooooooooooooooo much more fun!

Re: Rhodes mentioned on CBSSports for Pitt

How do you call yourself a Clone fan when you can't spell the man's name correctly? He has only been here for two years now.

No body has said anything of substance on the matter. They are just reiterating he would make sense as he worked there for years. I'm nervous by nature but until we hear real news on this matter I think we are fine. They seem to think that the Okie State OC will be the guy.
