Panther Sports Network

No, it's always on UNI's "network." It's on regular, over the air TV. That's better than being a Mediacom "exclusive."

exactly This is far better than Mediacom exclusive.

why all the comments on PSN not being in HD??? Have any ISU games been in HD yet this season?

Because based on past experiences of watching UNI games, the picture is so much worse than even Standard Definition that it's tough to put into words. Couple that with Brooks and McCausland's incoherent ramblings, and you have a TV broadcast that sets televised basketball back 20-30 years.

....and we have a winner. Chris Williams... please give this smart gentleman 90 million credits.

That + the Zapruder reference sets you up as Poster of the Day.

You can create an ESPN3 account at work, or somewhere with an Internet provider that carries it, then login at home.

I don't remember exactly how it works, but I have ESPN3 now. My incentive to remember was less. Although the connection doesn't seem to support video...

How long ago was "past experiences". I guess I haven't noticed it being any worse than any other SD production like the games Mediacom does.

I suppose it was the last time ISU played them there 2 years ago.

If Mediacom productions are your benchmark for quality, I can see why you think there's nothing wrong with the PSN. Whatever, if it's on tv, it's better than nothing.

Well for one, the graphics that PSN used to use were from 1970. I don't know if they still use those, but it was awful when they did.

If I remember correctly that would have been before UNI was with Learfield Sports.

Anyway I just thought of all things it was odd to see all the ragging about PSN. I've watched several of the ISU games this year on mediacom and dont see a difference to PSN.

nobody is saying medicom is the benchmark but I dont think there is much difference in actual video quality in any SD program.

So.. it's on mediacom, its just panther nation?? I specifically remember it being on MC22 but presented as "panther basketball". Is this not the case?
