Hmmmm,

I would think that since iowa shows up #9 on the Princeton Review of top party schools and something close to that in "most beer" and "most hard liquor", the campus powers that be should concern themselves more with that aspect of campus life instead of sweet corn.

However, I'm sure that Rob Howe over at hn.com will come up with an op-ed piece on why drinking is no big deal, but sweet corn could be the end of civilization as we know it.

Probably something about how eating all that sweet corn would have adverse affects on the 'booming' ethanol economy in Iowa by removing it from the market. But binge drinking is A-OK because binge drinking leads to increased taco sales.:yes:
