CB Loves Haters

Craig should not need a shirt to express himself.

It's all the principal of the matter and is a symbol of the displaced attitude of this team. Certainly easier to call attention to the "haters" and not correct the real problem.

Thanks, Coach.

Good Lord. It's a novelty T-shirt. He's not giving attention to anyone. I'm starting to think people read too far into things because they like getting worked up over dumb stuff.

If this was following one bad game (and in response someone went off on him/the team), I'd agree and find it quite amusing. But that's not the case.

I guess I don't see how him wearing a shirt that he probably picked up at Pac Sun for $10 is so symbolic of a poor work ethic - sometimes a shirt is just a shirt. He also appears to be wearing the shirt at practice, which is usually where you sharpen your skills for a game.

And, for the record, I disagree that the haters shouldn't receive any attention - Craig takes everyone's crap on here, he's more than allowed to give some back.

All right. I know everyone is a little anxious today because of signing day, but you are totally taking the term "up-tight" to a whole new level.

I think that ISUFan22 is upset with the shirt because he doesn't like being called out by Craig Brackins. Just sayin'

Maybe tonight on the basketball court in a live game would be a real swell place to start.

Craig is also the leader of this team. Greg is the head coach, takes a ton of crap for the poor record and most don't have an issue with it (aside from the extreme stuff). Craig should be able to handle it as well. I know it's a sin for many to say anything uncomplimentary about Craig - but he's not been near the force we expected and needed him to be this season - and it's not just some of his own fans taking notice of it.

In the grand scheme, yes it's just a shirt. But it reflects this less-than-great attitude that seems to show on the court.

Dear Lord...

It's a flipping t-shirt. Big whoop.

And here I didn't think people could obsess on anything less worthwhile than facebook or twitter posts. Wrong again.

It's just a shirt man. I have a shirt at home that says "Sweep the Leg" and I have yet to actually sweep anyones leg. He had a shirt on and someone ask for a picture. No big deal. The shirt looks a few years old as well. This thread is borderline really weird.

I see that 22 has chosen the message board as his weapon of choice in this duel. Craig uses his body, sweat, and future career to state his position.

Holy overreaction. Its just a shirt.

Apparently t-shirts are a huge deal...so all the topless chicks that get painted that 22 takes pictures of are a bunch of ******* whores, and he's a bad husband for taking those pictures being married and having kids. Maybe instead of calling attention to himself, he should focus on providing the best he can for his family and taking care of them instead of putting off this appearance.

See, I can spout baseless crap too.

Your argument was just that he wasn't showing any dedication to improving, but practice now doesn't count? Please let us and him know exactly when it counts for him to be "trying." I also think he did pretty well in a live game against CU in the second half, after some on this board were saying that they wouldn't even play him if they were coach...

I am a very vocal supporter of Mac, but the difference between Craig and Mac is above $700,000 per year. Nobody is shutting down expressing opinions, but making uninformed comments about CB's dedication is fairly ridiculous - especially when he turned down an NBA career to continue playing for this school. It's especially ridiculous when someone is using a T-shirt as justification for their rants.

NO. It just means I like puns. I think the shirts are funny. ISUFan22, you are being waaaaay too uptight about this. It's a freaking shirt, man.
