Official Non-Crybaby Game Thread

There are things we could be doing better (there always are). But we're playing much better than we did in some of the earlier games, like North Dakota where we won by 31, but played horribly.

anybody else impressed with the knowledge of bilas and patrick about isu, they usually don't care about who duke plays, and not being negative but how come we struggle so much rebounding, anybody got any solutions?

I've always thought Bilas was pretty even keeled.

I'd like to see us free up Lucca for a couple of quick three's or Jamie, whichever.

i don't know about everybody else, but i am excited to see this second half. we didn't play to great and we are only down by 8. brackins is bound to heat up. all in all we are playing good with pretty good defense which is nice to see, we just need some rebounding and to sink free throws

So ISU and Duke are playing and we have to watch Kansas. ********. People that tuned into the ISU-Duke game are ISU and Duke fans. **** ESPN.

So do I, but Craig is a human being who chose to come back to Iowa State. We should want him to succeed in his life after Ames. Am I wrong?

Agree 100%. Unfortunately at this point it seems life after Ames shouldn't start until after the 10-11 season.

lets go second half, i'm ready for craig to relax and hit some shots, we arent playing great and we are still in the game, we just need to rebound. is anybody else impressed by our defense other than the poor rebounding?

I hate these ESPN ****-suckers. Kansas is up 3 and has the ball. DO we really need to miss the first 8 minutes of the second half?

I understand that. Will a degree or a year in the D league help his cause more?

Sure...you and I can sit here and say that but it simply isn't that easy. Until we are in his shoes, we don't have any clue what sort of family situation he has where big time NBA money could really help a guy out. I agree about the degree but that way of thinking when you were a sure-fire 1st round pick a season ago simply isn't realistic.

Bilas and Fraschilla really impressed me at the coaches clinic this year...I'm pretty sure at least 1 and maybe both of them went to watch ISU practice while they were in the area (Des Moines)...said they like to get a chance to see the teams they are going to cover outside of gametime.
