...another fact u guys milk cows for fun up there...82% of your fan base cant read and rides horses to work...

I can't wait for the pukeye trollers to jump all over this one, considering we are an agricultural school and all. Nice job freek.

UNI has won 3 of the last 8 against ISU (wins in 1992, 1994, 2007; losses in 1996, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006). That's closer to 40%. And two of those ISU victories came by a field goal or less, so it's not like UNI could not have won. I also see an 11-point win over Illinois State; the box score shows that it was fairly competive game.

Look, I think all signs indicate that ISU will win. I am just saying that it is not a sure thing and certainly not a sure blow-out win for ISU.

UNI and NDSU are not comparable

...Another useless fact: OU has won the last 11 against ISU. Thankfully, NDSU is not OU. Even better, they are not even UNI. Furthermore, UNI has won 1 out of the last 6 (16%). You can play the numbers in many ways, but even at the best it looks dismal for UNI... and again, NDSU is inferior to UNI.
It is not a sure thing. Imo NDSU has somewhere around a 12% chance. The fact that NDSU having a chance is incriminating towards ISU says a lot about NDSU. I commend you for having such support for a program that is used as a litmus test for absolute futility.
I did not know you play football like horseshoes in ND. Minn is glad to hear you consider anything below an 11-point win as a loss.

Two or three years ago when NDSU visited Western Illinois the night before Bison fans painted the Leatherneck statue in front of the stadium green and gold. We better guard Jack Trice the night before the game!

LAKES GOPHER.

imitation is the sincerest form of FLATTERY!

change your name, you're a joke.

NDSU will be gunning bigtime for ISU.

NDSU's AD and Coaches schedule FBS games that they know they can win, Minnesota, Ball State, Cent Mich, Wyoming, Ia State just adds to this list.

CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME!! HURRY UP CALENDER!!

THURSDAY PRACTICE NOTES!!!!

The free safety position was virtually worry-free for the Bison since Nick Schommer's freshman year when he took it over. Schommer is now with the Tennessee Titans. His replacement, sophomore Daniel Eaves, has done some nice things this fall. Certainly, we'll have to wait until game day, but Eaves has been manning the spot like he knows what he's doing.
Other stuff from today:
  • So far, nobody has been ruled out of the Iowa State opener on Sept. 3 because injury other than the ACL to true freshman tight end Kevin Vaadeland, who probably would have redshirted anyway.
  • Freshman linebacker Eddie Beson continued individual workouts on the sideline in an effort to get back in pads. He missed last year with an ACL and had another procedure done over the summer.
  • The defense had one of its best surges of fall camp with three interceptions in a short period of time by Freddie Banks, Josh Gatlin and Eaves. “I thought the secondary was really moving around well,â€￾ said head coach Craig Bohl.
  • Quarterback Dante Perez, who sprained his ankle earlier this week, is expected to return to practice on Monday. Bohl said Perez is still in the mix, “but we’re getting to the point where we’ll be needing to name a starter.â€￾
  • It may not be until early next week for the starter to be named, but there can't be much doubt that Nick Mertens is the guy. He looked sharp for the most part on Thursday.
  • Watching true freshman Justin Juckem work out on the sideline (minor injury) - this guy looks like he's already been through NDSU's strength and conditioning program for two years.
  • Thursday was the last of the two-a-day practices. NDSU’s practice/scrimmage on Saturday will be closed to the media and public

I dont see IOWA STATE ON HERE.

Turned down BC and WSU & AMRY for NDSU, that's gotta even be impressive to you IOWA ST FANS!

Lakebison are you aware that your football team lost its starting QB, RB, and almost all your recievers, you barely have experience, this is big 12 talent, not kids that got recruited from the place that nobody wanted...the kids that werent good enough to compete or strong enough or fast enough to be at a REAL school with a REAL stadium and a REAL schedule, and play games on TV, see i like to capitilize stuff to..

Just remember cyclown fans.......if a kid comes to ISU he definately wasn't good enough to be on the top half of all FBS teams. You just don't get it clowns, your athletes are the same if not much better than NDSU's.

Hilarious.

How many players has NDSU put into the NFL over the last forty years?

You just don't get it, clown.

Oh... one of the players who is listed as a commit for your school on this page on rivals right?

North Dakota State Commit List for 2009

I see 4 two star players?

Why don't you check out our list? I'm only an engineer so I obviously can't count or anything, but I think we might have more of those shiny yellow shapes with 5 points on them? Those mean something right like that their teacher thought they were a really nice guy or something?

Iowa State Commit List for 2009 <---you have to scroll down to Iowa State and to 09 because the linking for their site seems to keep wanting to give us next year's list while it doesn't for NDSU.
