It's Friday again!

Yeah, that place has had a lot of names.

Dean's List
Big Shots & Chasers
Outlaws
Some stupid *** dance club and the name is escaping me.

Is that where The Library was as well?

Yes.... While it was still at the old building I remember when they had Fish Bowl Fridays.... Man did I get ****ed up in there a few times. Wow... I also had an ex girlfriend try to punch me in their one night too which was awesome. :wideeyed: So many great memories there. lol

What was the name of that dance club that it was before Outlaws. It's killing me that I can't remember it. Probably bc I never went to it then.

I graduated with him. Good guy.

Though he probably doesn't know me as "MoreCowbell"

Probably not. He was always a freaking magnet for people wanting to fight him for whatever reason. For a smallish guy he never backed down from anyone.... ever.

In fact we were at the ISU-Nebraska game in Ames last year and he tackled a husker fan head first into the concrete stadium steps after the ****** grabbed his hat off of his head. Priceless moment. We were in a bad section that day as we nearly had several brawls with some ignorant a-hole husker fans who couldn't shut their ******* mouths. An older gentleman was getting razzed particularly hard and finally yelled at the husker's wife to shut the **** up... prompting her husband to ask him to not talk about his wife... Old man responds with the blast of the day "Your wife is so ******* ugly I will say whatever I want."

What a wonderful day making friends with the husker faithful.

Priceless moment. I had one similar. I went to the game in Lincoln in '05 where we lost in OT. After the game, some old Husker fans pats me on the back and says, "Helluva game". I turned around and told him to "**** off". What I didn't know was that my other buddies had been talking to him most of the game and he was really a nice guy and was with his grandson. Definitely a low moment on my part. I still feel bad about that.

Wasn't it like Rain or Reign or something gay like that? They thought it was supposed to be some fancy club but in fact nobody ever went there because it was a dump.... Save bars like that for Iowa City because the good folks in Ames don't get down like that. :biglaugh:

Yeah, that place had Iowa City slumhouse written all over it. You could practically hear the STD's being passed.

I have learned when dealing with husker fans the best way to handle them is with hostility first. Make a strong showing and usually those ******* back down.
