*** 2026 The Open Championship Royal Birkdale***

Lets just put these 2 in a UFC cage. They both hate each other so lets get it on!

In 2017 Rory “hosted” and “played” the Irish Open at Portstewart Golf Club (Northern Ireland).

He didn’t attend any of the charity events.

Flew in on his helicopter and played 18.

Flew out.

Flew in on his helicopter and played 18.

Missed the cut.

Flew out and that was it.

Not as just the player, but also the Host of the tournament.

That’s something an Ass like David Simms of Tin Cup fame would do.

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I can't stand Rory. He might be the only guy I actively root against. He likes to run his mouth about anyone and anything, but the moment he gets any push back, he tries to play the victim. For instance when all the LIV stuff was first going down (and I'm no fan of LIV), he put himself front and center with comments to any camera he could find. Then when his play began to suffer and/or he got a little criticism for some of his takes, he went the "poor me" route. Very punchable.

You’re not alone. Lots of people hate Rory. I’m right there with you.

I can both agree with this, and still choose Rory over DeChambeau 7 days out of the week.
