I like watching pros play links style golf, but I’m annoyed by the weather. Dudes should not be wearing short sleeves at The Open.

Golf is a game of self policing. Any golfer should get the benefit of the doubt if they say their actions didn’t improve their lie or swing path.

The ball was way back in his stance. His attack angle was very steep. In his mind, he knew his shot and swing path …backswing and downswing.

There isn’t clear cut 100% video evidence otherwise.

I’ve been to 10 Open Championships and players /Caddies and Marshalls trounce around balls all of the time in that crap.

It’s only a penalty because it’s an American player and an American LIV player at that.

I also feel that video evidence in golf should be disallowed as not every player gets the same video coverage.

I'd love anyone to find me a better overall golfer over the last couple years in the Majors than Sam Burns. What is his average finish I wonder? Yes, he hasn't won one yet, but seems like he's the only one that is always up there... where others have won one, but then are nowhere to be seen in others.

He’s one of the best putters on tour.
