*** 2026 The Open Championship Royal Birkdale***

Just laughing watching Hatton. He's a guy I historically rooted against to win. But his reactions are fun to watch.

Maybe I should be cheering for him, would definitely make Sunday rounds more entertaining. He'd be a fun guy to walk a round with! From a little distance though.
I root against him because LIV, but he'd be in the top 5 of tour pros that I'd want to play a round with.

Yes most Open rota courses are weather dependent, but this is no JD Classic
Definitely exaggerating with "John Deere Classic". The reality is, courses can be hard or soft, 6000 yards or 8,000 yards, all kinds of different rough.... if you give these guys perfect weather/no wind, they will eat any course.

These courses especially. If they made them to be hard in good weather over there, they'd be unplayable in their frequent bad weather.

John Deere Classic breaking out in England. Course is playing defense as well as their soccer team did in the second half.
Links courses are super gettable when the conditions are as favorable as they have been so far. No wind and rain means guys are going to go low.

Plus, I think he’d be paired with Scheffler again definitely something I gotta think Scheffler can’t love.

Rules might have changed, but it used to be first in, last out. That would have Bryson playing with whoever at -4 finished first today (not Scheffler)
